Report Summary
The USDA Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS) is responsible for the weekly reporting of agricultural export sales data. This includes reporting any sales transaction entered into with a buyer outside the United States for specific commodities, regardless of quantity. The reporting period runs from Friday through Thursday, and exporters must report no later than 11:59 p.m. ET the following Monday. The FAS publishes a weekly summary of export sales activity, comparing and reconciling reported data with sources including USDA’s Federal Grain Inspection Service, U.S. Census Bureau, and trade reports.
