Wheat export shipments appear ahead of pace.

USDA reported -20,298 tonnes for last week’s wheat export sales activity. The trade estimate was -100,000 to +100,000.

USDA’s 710 million bushel export goal, for the year that started June 1, is -20% from the five year average sale. Year to date shipments are -17% from average and total 615. To hit this goal, with US wheat donations, we need shipments of 629.  The remainder of the year needs to see -81% from average shipments. This past week was +2%. One complication with wheat exports at the end of the year is the unknown of donations. Each year's amount varies. For now, Allendale is even with USDA's whole-year view.
