Meat Exports Falter

Beef export sales of 11,229 tonnes were reported. This was -37% from last year. Year to date bookings are -11% from last year. That is still below USDA’s whole-year goal of -8%.

Pork export sales of 24,854 tonnes were -30% from last year. Our year to date pace is +3% vs. last year. That is near USDA's current view of +5%.
