Corn Exports Are On Track

Weekly export sales today cover Fri 3/1 – Thu 3/7 activity.

Sales of 1,283,415 tonnes were reported. The trade estimate was 800,000 – 1,400,000. USDA’s current 2.100 billion bushel goal for the year would be -2% from the five year average pace. Our year to date sales are -3% from average. To meet USDA’s goal remaining sales need to run +2% vs. the five year average. This week was +11%. We have eight weeks that have run +8% with the five year average. Allendale is even with USDA's current whole-year export view.
