Best weekly pork export sale in over a year.

Beef export sales of 12,654 tonnes were reported. This was +12% from last year. Year to date bookings are -12% from last year. That is below USDA’s whole-year goal of -8%.

Pork export sales of 55,319 tonnes were oddly strong at +82% from last year. This was the best sale since December 2022. Our year to date pace is +6% vs. last year. That is near USDA's current view of +5%.
